Curse

Hi.
I have taken a big interest in Necromancer curses but I lack the skill slots to make a necro without deleting hard-worked characters. Then I remembered that I still can still go Me/N to use SS.
Does anyone happen to have advice for me in Me/N SS?

id suggest getting curses 40/40 obviously, and secondly you will not have the same energy management as necros soul reaping, so you will need to dedicate 1 or 2 of your skills to manage energy well.

if you insist on using a fastcast curse mesmer i would suggest attributes 12/9/12 curse/fast cast/inspiration with 2 skills dedicated to e management like kurzick said.

i would personally use waste not want not and power drain or you could use inspired/drain enchant instead of waste not want not but i would definetly take power drain because of the huge energy return + interrupt

I go like this when I go Fast Cast Curses on my mesmer:

[build=Me/N Fast Casting=8+1 Inspiration=10+1 Curses=12][Auspicious Incantation][Spiteful Spirit][Enfeebling Blood][Ether Nightmare][Cry of Pain][Signet of Corruption][no skill][no skill][/build]

Something along those lines, and it works pretty well.

I usually bring [Suffering] and [Weaken Armor] in the last two slots, it helps my Discord heroes tear through enemies with hex and condition removal.

I use Arcane Echo with it and spam it, using signets for energy and utility (since it gets spammed on everyone, I run out of energy fast and the signets don't use any, combined with mantra of inscriptions and artificers armor, it works out well. There are probably better builds out there, but its more fun. Mine is also a bit old, could probably use some updating for new skills.

I've thought of making a necro for SS before too, but its a choice between looking awesome and looking hideous, and since SS really is a mesmer skill that got stolen by the necros, I consider it a point of pride to use it on my mesmer. Besides, I've tried it on a necro before, I hate how slow they cast. Fast casting isn't a great attribute, but I cant live without it anymore.
